A lean-operating investment platform focused on distributed-energy and energy-transition assets had fragmented information across its core systems, spreadsheets, and partner data sources — with no consistent governance, cybersecurity maturity assessment, or AI policy in place.
Approach
- Conducted structured interviews across executive and functional leadership
- Built a current-state master analysis spanning technology, data, cybersecurity, AI, and governance
- Established sponsor, executive, portfolio, and architecture-decision governance cadences
- Assessed incident-response readiness, data-platform security, vendor accountability, and AI policy against NIST and Zero Trust principles
- Delivered weekly executive readouts and an integrated project register
Outcome
Governance cadence and portfolio structure were established where none existed before; the maturity assessment and future-tooling roadmap moved two priority initiatives into active execution.
